So, i haven't blogged in exactly one month... Even though i didn't say anything, i wanted one month off to clear my head and rest. I was having this weird mid-life (not mid) crisis, where i was mad at everything and everyone for trying to be something they weren't and aren't... mostly on social sites. i'm really into real people. i don't care if you're a bitch, just be real about who you are, don't try to be cool in some way. Image was the word that kept coming to me... when people try to put a different image on... pinterest, facebook, blogs, instagram... every social networking site i'm on and involved with i see someone who i know, acting like someone i don't know.

I also got an insanely weird and creepy anonymous comment on one of my posts... it made me re-think what i post, and i changed my privacy settings. I want this to be a happy and inspiring place, where i don't have to think about all the scary things in the world. i am an EXTREMELY sensitive person, i don't handle conflict of ANY kind well, so to have someone say they saved pictures of me on their computer "for themselves" creeped me out the ever loving door. i don't know if it was someone i know or someone i don't know, if it was a man or a woman. i just got really freaked and even thought about deleting my blog. but it is really fun for me, i just don't want to put pressure on myself to post everyday, i want to have quality posts with words... haha, and if i push myself, their not going to be good.

i also want to change the look of my blog a tad. on my banner i have "photo+fashion+project blog" even though i would call myself a creative person, i don't do many projects. i do however love music, so i'll add stuff here and there, change just small things to make it look more put together.... so anyways. thanks for reading this long post. and i'll be back soon :)

Softball

So, i am a very NON athletic person! if i were in school i would be in musicals vs. any sport. not that I have anything against sports, my body does. My favourite "fantasy" is, me getting hit in the head with a ball, and passing out on the field. i have no clue why that vision is so hilarious to me,but it is. Every monday night our church softball league plays with the other churches in the area. let's just say, the other churches hand pick their players, while our church has an open invitation. everyone says we suck. haha. it may or may not be true. 

guess what?!?!?! 

I ACTUALLY HIT THE BALL! multiple times! it was sweeeeeet!!!!

Travel Pictures

Today we started on our trip to Florida, and I've been instagraming a lot! One of the things I'm excited about for Florida is Outfit Pictures with palm trees. Hehe!!! i'm doing this from my phone so i'll keep it short...I'm going to show you some random travel pictures... Enjoy.

1- at a children's hospital (nothing big...at all) 2- the CUTEST park, it had little stop lights! 4 and 5- the beautiful shadows of the leaves on my legs, it made me want a tattoo.

Less blogging for a week.

Okay, so it has been really busy in this house lately. in 3 days we are flying to florida for my Grandma's 90th birthday/family reunion. and we will be there for a week. so right now we are doing tons of laundry and packing, and then when we get there it will be packed with family stuff, and planning for her birthday party, so I bid you adieu (for a week or less) i'm not saying i won't blog at all, it's just.. i'm not promising much in the next week.

p.s. Starry eyed saturday and Musical monday will still be happening.

Busy Bee

I hate when i get out of the blogging flow, i am loading more pictures and preparing posts for the near future. it's  been so super busy around here!! Yesterday was full of tornados ( i detest tornados!) so i cried a lot. then at the end of the day we had a fun coffee house time full of music and cheesecake! and i bucked up the nerve to sing this song...

I was so nervous about it, but i did it!!! it was so fun! but then when we went home the scariness started! and we ALL had to go in the basement! all 11 of us in our bedroom! that's when i had my little breakdown!
i felt like our "District" was about to be destroyed! haha!

These were all pictures of our Colorado trip over St. Patty's day weekend, for my dad's birthday.
We hiked 4-ish miles up a mountain to a lake, and we all felt like we were going to die!
The second day my Dad, Jason and Staci broke off from the group and Me, My Mom and my siblings went shopping.
It was very fun, and i'm even more in love with Boulder now!
Next time we go i want to try out Snowboarding!
